Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2023. It is the latest flagship device from the Samsung Galaxy S series, known for its innovative features and premium design.
Meanwhile, the new Samsung S24 is days away from official release. But a few leaks over the weekend reveal some of its anticipated highlights.
The first upgrade of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is its camera. A rumor says that Samsung has been inspired by the new iPhone 15 and will follow suit by putting a 24MP camera as the default on its next flagship Galaxy S. That’s a big leap from the existing Galaxy S23 Ultra, whose regular camera resolution is 12MP.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra camera has many features and capabilities that make it a versatile and powerful tool for capturing photos and videos. These features include 10x optical zoom, 8K video recording, improved night mode, and AI-based object recognition and erasing.
The benefits of the camera for the users are numerous. For example, they can take stunning photos and videos of various scenes and subjects, from landscapes and portraits to wildlife and sports, enhance the image quality with AI-based features, and edit the scenes with object recognition and erasing functions.
But that’s not all. The recently announced Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra) also offers a one-touch Photo Remaster feature that uses artificial intelligence to touch up photos. The feature is the same as that on Samsung laptops- the Galaxy Book 4 series. It may include three settings: Portrait, Remaster, or Delete. Users can quickly restore old photos to their original appearance with only one tap.
Another leak, courtesy of Ahmed Qwaider, gave more information about the phone’s display. In addition to hitting 2600 nits (nits are numbered relative to clarity and color), Gorilla Glass Victue 2–the strongest glass Corning has ever made–will also cover them. Were that brightness true, it would put Samsung a full step ahead of Google’s Pixel Pro and Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max at 1,500 nits.
